Building a Culture of Wellness: College of Medical Sciences Wellness Day & Business Expo 2026
Where wellness meets community, conversation and connection.
Mind Bloom Guyana was happy to be part of the College of Medical Sciences Wellness Day & Business Expo 2026, joining other organisations and businesses for a day focused on wellness, connection and community.
As a Silver Sponsor, our participation gave us an opportunity to introduce more people to Mind Bloom, the work we do with parents, children and families, and our growing focus on making conversations around mental and emotional wellness more accessible in Guyana.
Meeting the Community
One of the best parts of the day was simply getting to talk to people.
Visitors stopped by the Mind Bloom booth to learn about our work, ask questions and engage in conversations around mental health and family wellness. We also had the opportunity to hear directly from attendees about their own understanding of mental wellness and their impressions of Mind Bloom Guyana.
These interactions are especially important to us because mental health awareness does not only happen in workshops or formal sessions. Sometimes, it starts with a simple conversation.
Taking Mind Bloom Beyond the Workshop Room
While much of our work involves structured programmes and workshops, events like the Wellness Day & Business Expo allow us to meet people where they are.
They give us the chance to build awareness, form new connections and remind our community that conversations about emotional wellbeing can be approachable, practical and part of everyday life.
We were grateful to the College of Medical Sciences for creating a space dedicated to wellness and for allowing Mind Bloom Guyana to be part of it.
Every conversation is an opportunity to plant a seed, and we look forward to continuing to help those seeds bloom.
